About ManagedLab Services

ManagedLab Services takes care of all the business aspects of a lab, from everyday lab operations such as glass wash, consumable stocking, waste disposal, and media prep, to asset and inventory management, scientific support, and more.

We work as a team, harnessing the power of the local biotech network, focusing on active management  and employee engagement.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Taylor Moyer, we recognized that small scale labs spent an inordinate amount of time on basic lab support tasks instead of scientific research. Our answer to this paradigm was to take on these operational tasks, allowing researchers to focus on what they do best. Our existing customer base includes both R&D and GMP organizations ranging in size from small local biotechs to international pharmaceutical companies, who utilize our Lab Support, Lab Management, and Inventory and Operational solutions.

Headquartered in San Diego, CA in proximity to "Biotech Beach", ManagedLab is a Certified Women Owned Small Business; a member of BIOCOM  and the San Diego Entrepreneurs Exchange; a primary sponsor of Boots in Bio; and was recognized by the San Diego Business Journal in the “Top 100 fastest growing privately held businesses in San Diego” list in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
